Hi, its the time of the month when people feel a bit more generous than usual & they want to donate in some way or another, which is GR8! I just believe we should be just as giving all year round, because there is always a need to be met in someone's life! We can give of our time, our energy, our resources, our talents & gifts, our finances, our food, our love, our compassion, our ear, WE ALL CAN AFFORD TO GIVE SOMETHING!!!
The law of sowing & reaping is Luke 6:38
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” NIV and

Recession OR Recess?
Greetings my world wide web peeps, I pray this post finds you in uplifted spirits & good health! Its been such a long time since I posted on this blog, but that's because I could not log in! I thought I created the account under one address & it was actually under another email address! Silly me! I've written them down in a safe place & I linked all four blogs together...so I shouldn't have that problem anymore!
What is going on with you? Many people all over the world are having a hard time keeping their heads above water! My prayers are with all those who are affected in a negative way by what some call the recession! When I think of the root word "recess" I think of my elementary school days. I always looked forward to recess, because I needed a break from the school day! If I didn't get this little break, maybe I would just be complacent in my job, collecting a steady check & not follow the dream I buried underneath all the things I made a priority! I choose to see what the world calls a recession as a break from the hustle & bustle rat race! I CHOOSE to use this time to reflect on how it has been GOD supplying my needs all along! Although I am grateful for my job, I KNOW IT IS NOT MY SOURCE...GOD IS! I'm ever so thankful for the creativity God has placed in me, because I can use my gifts to help others along the way & the Bible says "your gift will make room for you" & I believe God! I know what its like to have need of money, its just that God has taught me how to totally lean & depend on Him & He literally makes a way out of no way, CONTINUOUSLY!
There are some people who have made a lot of money during this time & I'm happy for them. However, others seek assistance from churches, food pantries, family/friends & the government. I know both ends of the spectrum. I can't say anything negative, I dare not complain, because no matter what end of the spectrum I may be on, the bottom line is GOD SUPPLIED ALL MY NEEDS ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY, not according to my education, job nor my limitations! He's just good like that! I may not have everything I want, but I do have everything I need! Come to think of it, the ore I delight myself in Him, He gives me the desires of my heart! To those who may be down, ITS NOT GOING TO BE THIS WAY ALWAYS! Count your blessings, name them one by one! It works for me! I always feel better when I do this! Another thing that helps is to throw yourself at the mercy of others, help someone else who may be worse off than you. Its a great morale booster! Surely takes your mind off of your own problems & get this, while you're doing the work of the Lord by helping others, He's working behind the scenes to make sure you get what you need too! Its just like PAY IT FORWARD & EACH ONE REACH ONE!!! I LOVE IT!!!
Just think, all it takes is one good idea! God gives us so many different ones that could really put us over the top! We just have to ACT ON IT! DO NOT FEAR! My prayer is that God gives us our divine connections, placing us in the path of those who will help us reach our destiny! I pray we have pure motives & a willingness to help others. I don't want to prosper just for my own good, I want to be a sign & wonder for people to see God in me! I want to be a living witness to His miraculous provisions! Its all in how we think & what we speak about the different situations that arise! I've learned to say, come hell or high water, GOD WILL GET THE GLORY OUT OF ALL THAT I GO THROUGH! HE WILL WORK IT OUT FOR MY GOOD, EVEN WHEN IT LOOK & FEELS BAD! He will bring me out on top, just as He always has!!!
I'm not telling you something I heard, I'm telling you my life!!! Trust God! Take heed to my testimony & you too can be rich in every area of your life...Spiritually, Mentally, Emotionally, Physically & Financially!!!
